Bali to have Trade House in Thailand

DENPASAR (indo.com): The Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association (HIPPI) Bali is scheduled to send two representatives to attend the Trade House opening in Thailand on April 20, 2002. The event will provide a good opportunity to promote Bali so that more travelers will visit the Island of the Gods.

HIPPI Bali's Chief, Made Dharma, said that with the trade house in Thailand, it is expected that Bali's craftsmen will have a chance to exhibit their products and be able to promote Bali Tourism there. "The Bali Trade House in Thailand will exist permanently," he added.

HIPPI Bali receives the Trade House from the Thai government free of charge. Expenses for electricity bills, the stand and its products (including various of Balinese art works) will be born by the association.

The representatives are selected to attend the Trade House opening because they are experts in Balinese dances. "Hopefully they will perform their unique talents in Thailand," Made said.
