Jakarta bomb blast has no significance effect on Aussie tourist arrivals

DENPASAR (indo.com): The recent bomb blast in front of the Australian Embassy in Jakarta has prompted the Australian government to take precautionary measures by issuing a travel warning and closing its consulate in Bali.

However, the recent bomb blast in Jakarta does not have a significant effect on Australian tourist arrivals in Bali.

Based on the arrival list available at the immigration office in Bali, the number of Australian tourists who cancel their travel to Bali is small, compared to that following the Bali bombing.

With school holidays just starting in Australia, many Australians are now spending their holidays in the Island of Paradise. Occupancy rate at five-star hotel in Legian-Kuta is still at normal condition.
