Neka Gallery's Arie Smit Wing

Welcome to Eka Gallery of Bali Photos on the Web.

The photo above is the front door of Arie Smit's building of Neka Museum and Gallery, my favorite place to visit in Ubud. This building is dedicated to the renown artist Arie Smit, who now calls Ubud his home. The second floor of the building houses a large collection of Smit's paintings, and the first floor displays a lot of work by the painters of "The Balinese Youth" school of paintings that Smit promoted early in his career.
