Bali popular for yachting

DENPASAR (indo.com): In addition to fascinating sceneries and culture, Bali is also popular for yachting, especially among Australians.
With the strategic location, Bali lures many Australians to the destination for yachting.

The Managing Director Pacific World, Ida Bagus Lolec said that the yacht is the best alternative in the future for Bali recovery program. "We have been engaged in handling cruising in Bali since 1980s. And we've got used to handling cruising from the United States and Europe.

A report said that many Australians planned to do yachting in Bali. Managing Director and Operational Director Megawest Cruise Ltd, Hugh Jackson said that the Megawest Cruise would be officially operated in the coming summer holidays, from September to October 2003. The Megawest Cruise is expected to deck in Bali.

The Megawest Cruise Lt. Centrally ported at Fremantle (West Australia) and cruising around South East for 72 times a year. In that route, Megawest Cruise will make a stop in Bali for 25 times in a year. It means that every two weeks, it carries around 800 to 1,000 Australian tourists.
With many Australians yachting in Bali, the activity has been cited as supporting the ongoing Bali tourism recovery programs.
