Lamak Restaurant in Ubud combines good food and fine arts

DENPASAR (indo.com): With the opening of the Lamak Restaurant & Bar in Ubud, located on Jl. Monkey Forest, Bali recently witnessed the opening of a new restaurant that combines good food and fine arts.

The newly opened restaurant serves International and Asian fare in a kaleidoscopic atmosphere. Its unique harmony is achieved with dramatic interiors from renowned artists and designers Made Wijaya (Michael White and Pintor Sirait.

The Lamak Restaurant had its soft opening in mid February. The eatery will celebrate its official launch at private functions later in the month. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and offers pickup service within the Ubud area.

Also unique to Lamak is an offering of set, family style dining. Indonesian and Asian family style menus offer four courses, with soup, a choice with starters, main course and sweets with tea or coffee. Two complete rijstaffel menus are presented in traditional fashion, with a sampling from across the Indonesian archipelago.

Available on request are set light lunch menus, barbecued seafood and vegetarian dishes. The a la carte menu also offers a range of non-meat choices. Lamak provides services for special occasions, including birthday, weddings and cocktail parties. It also offers special arrangements for groups.
