Our Wonderful Experiences in Bali
Hello world travellers.
The rice is part of our food here in Greenland. And we are today very proud to tell our family and friends that we have been to one of the beautiful ricemarks in the world.

We
have been to a wonderful Sanur in Bali last year between Sept. 4th and
15th, 2000. As we mentioned above, we come from Greenland where the snow
exists in 7-8 months a year. Therefore, when we got to Bali, our dream
became true: to come to a "hot" and exotic country, which is a complete
different country compare to our also beautiful country. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!
We
could not do anything the first 2 days but staying at and in the swimming
pool to keep and be cool. 33 plus degrees was (still is) hot for us. To
see the trees be in flower "all the time" was unbelievable. There was
a high tree in beautiful flowering just outside our bungalow. We recognized
the tree by its flowers, that it was a flower we only could have in potted
plant indoor here in Greenland!!! Unbelievable!!!
Indonesia
has incredible temples, and some of them have holy monkeys in it. The
white sand beaches, the colourful dressed dancers, good and tasteful but
cheap food, the gates and sculptures of holy gods was some of the wonderful
things we experienced in Bali. You can also drive in a taxi almost the
hole day for only 25 dollars.
Finally,
we would like to tell you, that we have been the first who booked a hotel
room through Indo.com online in the world. We did not know that until
we arrived at Denpasar in Bali. The very nice people from Indo.com warmly
welcomed us and had upgraded our hotel room to a bungalow, it was a such
surprise. We just like some very important peoples. We thank people from
Indo.com so much for their kindness and helpful. Well, travellers in the
world, we Troels, Kista and Minik think, that Bali is an experience it
self (you could maybe be surprised too, who knows?!).
