Since the company's launch in 1985, our team of European designers continues to bring bright and fresh ideas into the marketplace. Leading the design team is French designer Jacgues Ruc who, as President director, is the personal driving force behind the company. Animale's vision has always been global with Jacques' high profile, 'hands-on' approach to design and manufacture guaranteeing quality garment production.

November 1997 marked the opening of the company's new headquarters in Bali, Indonesia. The impressive office building and adjacent factory, with its progressive, state-of-art technologies, is capable of producing 4 million garments per year.

The Animale label was created by Jacques in St. Tropez, France and many of the designs still reflect the vibrant and colorful lifestyle of this Mediterranean town. Jacques and his wife Agnes - who also has a strong background in garment manufacture - are now based in Bali, having firmly established Animale's manufacturing and retail network.
