New Year Celebration in Bali

Bali Police will secure the New Year Eve celebrations in Bali especially at the places that attracted most crowds especially at Kuta Beach and other public spots such airport, harbors and some of amusement places.

Kuta Beach and Legian area will be closed for motor vehicles on 31 December afternoon until 1 January morning. Police urged people to be disciplined themselves for all interests and their own safety and convenience and avoid any disturbances.

Meanwhile Denpasar city government is held a Denpasar Festival from December 28 until 31 at Catur Muka Statue in the center of Denpasar city.

About 272 booths of Denpasar tradespeople are participated in the event featuring local product of textiles and multi-products and it also held a culinaire festival during the event and about 110 foodstalls are participating and featuring Balinese traditional food. The Denpasar city government also held an annual New Year celebration with people in the Puputan Square Denpasar.

However many amusement places, cruises and hotels will be also held an event and dinner to welcome the New Year 2011.
