BACKGROUND
Cipta Ubud Boutique villa, located at the heart of rural Bali, is a revival of the century's upbringing of Bali Hinduism. For the Balinese, it is more than a religion, it is more than a religion, it is a way of life pervading every aspect of daily life in which arts play a vigorous role. Cipta Ubud will convey a profound sense of history that brings your next tranquil retreat to new heights.

A LOOK BACK
Today, Islam predominates in Indonesia. Only Bali has maintained allegiance OF Hinduism. Prior to the emergence of Bali Hinduism ( Hindu Dharma ), the Balinese practiced animistic and ancestor worship cults which began in prehistoric Bali. Then the beliefs in Buddha Mahayana and Hindu Ciwa came to Bali with merchants from India and China and inevitably the ancestor worship blended with those beliefs. In the late 13th century, there was a mighty Empire in East Java called Majapahit where also existed the beliefs in Buddha Mahayana and Hindu Ciwa. After the fall of Hindu-Javanese Majapahit priests, scholars and artists took refuge in Bali, bringing with them their religion, philosophy, art and skills. Bali has remained a repository of Majapahit but was never wholly javanized. The Balinese kept its own style of Hinduism in which adat (custom) and agama (religion) are inseparable.

LOCATION
Ubud is a 45-minute drive from Ngurah-Rai Denpasar airport. It is Bali's cultural heartland. Here, the wealth of art is breathtaking from the paintings, stone sculptures, woodcarving, to dance and music where the struggle between good and evil is a recurrent theme dramatically revealed. Ubud offers unsullied natural beauty, cool forest, tropical trees and misty, fragrant air heightening the feeling of space, air and light. The lush Ayung river winding through the western part of Ubud is considered sacred. Little wonder people from all over the world Journey here to be rejuvenated, refreshed and renewed. In Bali, especially in Ubud, it would seem that all spirit life is depicted in art.

RESORT
The resort is located in a village west of Ubud called Banjar (community) Tangga Yuda . Cipta (create) Ubud Boutique Villa will offer a serena and spiritually uplifting hideaway to retreat from everyday pressures and frenetic city pace. Cipta Ubud will be built on a lofty terraced-land and will boast 15 exclusive thatched roof boutique villas mirroring Modern Bali Architectures. Each villa will represent a period in the development of Bali Hinduism allowing the guests to experience the feeling of being in that period. Personal touch on every corner of the room fused with carefully selected artworks will elevate the sense of a period. The resort will overlook the hills along the path of the sacred Ayung River. By embracing the essence of verdant woodland, the resort will surely offer seclusion with inspirational setting.

VILLA
Cipta Ubud Boutique Villa would be a 4 star resort with qualities and services of a 5 star resort. Each villa will be built to assure discrete privacy and luxury accommodations. To create sense of spaciousness, each villa will have 5 separate air-conditioned rooms consisting of dining room, bedroom, dressing room, bathroom and living room. The bedroom will feature gauzedraped over the bed and to be as serene as possible satellite television will not be in sight ( available upon request). Private swimming pool with inside whirlpool will be provided in royal and superior suites. Sizeable reflection pond in each villa will embrace all elements of nature into the room. Each room will equal portion of a splendid view of the surroundings. Outdoor shower and private spa will be available in all villas.

The borobudur Royal suite was named after the majestic Candi (temple) Borobudur in Central Java. Candi Borobudur is the consummate example of Javanese Buddhist architecture as it developed under Shailendra Dynasty in the 8th century influence by Buddha Mahayana.

We also will have two prambanan Superior suites. The suite was named after famous Candi Prambanan in Central Java. It is a prime example of Hindu architecture. The temple was a result of a royal marriage between king Rakai Pikatan, who believed in Hindu Ciwa and princess Pramodhawardani, who was devoted to Buddha Mahayana and she was a descendant of Shailendra. This indicates that the two religious lived side by side in comparative placidity and the two religious had undoubtedly influenced Bali Hinduism.

All the twelve standard luxury suites reflect 4 influential periods in the development of Bali Hinduism beginning from Ancient Bali period where animistic worship and later development during Bali Majapahit period, post-Majapahit and new Bali period in which it finally became Bali Hinduism. Each suite will greet you with essential elements of artworks, interior design and furniture of modern function and home accessories associated with a period.

FACILITIES

Public Swimming Pool and Bar Pool
The swimming pool will rest on a steep riverbank overlooking the sacred Ayung River. The guests can drift into a blissful relaxation as a skilled masseuse pampers the guests with traditional massage by the pool. To enhance poolside enjoyment, we will provide a bar-pool that will serve your needs of refreshing beverages and snacks.

Restaurant and Bar
Located at the main building the Restaurant & Bar will provide great selections of drinks, local delicacies and enticing "East meets West" cuisines. Selected wines and champagnes will be available 24 hour serving as accompaniment to your meals.

Meditation Pavilion
It is an open air pavilion where you can meditate and absorb positive energies derived from nature which can beneficial for maintaining health and stimulating mind and soul.

Villa Private Spa
The spa will offer exotic Indonesian Spa treatment that have been refined over generations. The guests will experience the restorative benefits of aromatherapy massage after a refreshing dip in the outdoor whirlpool. Advance reservation will be needed
