An Adventurous Diving in Bali Waters

Bali, it is a very passionate holiday destination and it's worth to be visit over and over again. There are so many things you can do out there. Since the island has lots of beaches, no wonder that the number of water sports that offered here is numerous. Let's say from snorkeling, banana boat, parasailing, bungee jumping, flying fish, and many others. If you have an extra guts, you may try this famous water sport, diving.

Diving in Indonesia especially Bali can be everything most of the foreigners dream of when we imagine tropical diving warm water, stunning coral, swarms of colorful reef fish along dramatic reef walls, crystal visibility and endless processions of big pelagics. The spectacular variety of Indonesia's marine life is what tempts many western divers to visit the country in the first place.

On the other way, for most Indonesian, diving maybe is just another dream that only passes by at a glance. But everything won't be the same once you step in the land of Bali. Diving in Bali could the dream for all of us. Famous for it's thousands of temple, Bali is also known as the World Class Diving sites for it's fascinating underwater life. It's a favourite site for many foreign divers.

For those who never experience this water sport don't be afraid. In Bali you will find numerous of diving training centers. The price for the first try out is not too expensive, especially if we took a package which contains of some activities, you'll find it more cheaper.

If we plan to do some diving in Bali waters, it is best to contact one of some diving centers. They will help us booking the hotel room that fit with our financial condition, and also help to plan the diving program appropriate to our experience and desires.

These diving centers usually pack the whole equipment's rent prices including tanks, weights plus belts, guide and lunch. If we need other equipment such as BC and regulator, it is best to check the condition at first. It's also a very good idea if we give us a time to check the whole equipment before we dive in the next morning.

There are five major areas that mostly visited by the divers in Bali. Nusa Dua and Sanur, Nusa Penida, Padang Bai and Candi Dasa, Cemeluk and Tulamben, Pemuteran and Menjangan. Each area has its own characteristic. From half experience to a high experience may try to dive here.

If we have a chance to dive in Nusa Dua and Sanur, don't wish so hard to see some fabulous coral reef. The structure of the coral reef is not too eye catchy compares to other diving sites in other part of Bali. But you wish to see beautiful fish, well, you may enjoy such delightful scenery in this site.

The snapshot monitoring result from the Reef Check network in Bali shows that there are various condition of coral reef, in general, they are in good condition. Some places has a low coral reef cover, the consequence is this place own an unique attraction which never be found in any other place, for example Tulamben. Some area with it's strong current which has no high reef cover, replaced by a soft coral carpet and gorgonians. Meanwhile, other area is dominated by a dense coral reef cover.
