Perching on Petanu river's tumbling journey towards the
sea, the Natura Resort and Spa is a sanctuary for the world-weary
and environmentally aware. This resort also offers diversity
of Balinese cultures. Fourteen luxury villas designed by
Bali's prominent local architect, Popo Danes, enhance the
beauty off the existing site. Access is through the traditional
village of Laplapan, just 3 km northeast of Ubud. Cozily
fitted amongst the plants of the existing native trees,
to minimize environmental impact, each cottage offers total
privacy.
With the new concept in environmentally aware guest accommodation,
Natura's design plan was to enhance the beauty of the existing
site, with environmental impact being a serious consideration.
The preservation of existing vegetation and the protection
of the river and wildlife were paramount in the design of
the fourteen luxury villas.
In addition to its natural beauty, Natura is complemented
by fourteen traditional Balinese villas, designed to meet
the needs of the discerning traveler, positioned within
the natural contours of the land.

Each villa features a mini bar, ceiling fan and individually
controlled air-conditioning, personal IDD phone system,
satellite television, CD / VCD sound-system, hair-dryer,
personal safety deposit box, tropical fruit basket and welcome
drink on arrival, complimentary bottled water, private lounge,
plunge pool in several villas, large open-air verandah,
garden and river view. All villas contain a marble bathroom
with vanity units, WC and glassed showers.
